Field & Proof
Evidence before expansion

For side-hustle and small online business owners

Why isn’t my business working? Find out what’s keeping it from moving forward.

Share your offer, what you have tried, and the results you are seeing. We will manually review the evidence to identify what is most likely keeping your business from moving forward—and give you one clear next step to test it.

01 · Does this sound familiar?

You have tried things. The results still do not tell you what to do next.

The problem is not always a lack of effort. It is often that several explanations still fit the limited evidence.

People see the offer, but few buy.

You cannot tell whether the problem is the audience, the offer, the explanation, the price, or simply too little exposure.

Some things work, but not reliably.

A few sales or promising conversations have not become a repeatable way to find and convert customers.

Every adviser suggests a different fix.

Post more. Redesign the site. Lower the price. Run ads. You need to know which assumption deserves a test first.

02 · Sample analysis

See what the reasoning actually looks like.

This simplified, illustrative example shows how facts become a provisional analysis and a test—not a generic list of recommendations.

Illustrative example · fictional solo service business Shortened from the full report format

What the owner reported

  • A $400 brand-strategy sprint promoted mainly through general social posts.
  • About 42 website visits, three inquiries, and no calls booked in 30 days.
  • Several prospects asked, “What exactly do I receive?”
  • The owner was considering ads, a redesign, and a lower price.

What cannot be concluded

The evidence is too limited to conclude that the price is wrong or that the market lacks demand. Forty-two visits are not a reliable conversion test.

What is most likely limiting progress Offer comprehension—before traffic volume, website design, or price.

Why this analysis comes first

Qualified prospects are reaching the offer but cannot consistently explain the deliverable. Buying more traffic would amplify that uncertainty without showing whether the offer is understood.

Next 7-day test

Rewrite the offer in one sentence naming the buyer, desired outcome, and exact deliverable. Show it to 15 qualified prospects and ask each person to explain it back in their own words.

Success criterion: at least 12 of 15 accurately identify who it is for, what they receive, and why it matters. Do not change the price or redesign the site during this test.

03 · What you receive

A written decision, not another list of ideas.

Your report shows both the recommendation and the limits of the available evidence.

01

What is most likely limiting progress

The one problem most likely limiting progress now—not everything that could eventually improve.

02

The reasoning

The activity, outcomes, and patterns supporting the analysis, separated from assumptions.

03

The uncertainty

What the current evidence cannot responsibly prove and which missing information matters.

04

The skill being tested

The specific business behavior you need to practice or demonstrate during the next test.

05

One 7–14 day test

A timebox, minimum volume, measurement, and success criteria defined before you begin.

06

What to stop doing

The tempting projects and random fixes that would contaminate the test or waste attention.

CG

The person behind every founding report

Experience built around finding what is actually happening.

Field & Proof was created by Chris Garcia. His work has spanned frontline operations, mentoring, quality control, training, supervision, and business analysis.

Across those roles, Chris has investigated performance problems, separated symptoms from causes, tested assumptions against evidence, and helped people turn unclear findings into practical next actions.

That same discipline guides every Field & Proof report. You receive the observations, reasoning, alternative explanations, confidence level, and next test—not simply a recommendation without an explanation.

Every founding report is prepared personally by Chris and reviewed against the same evidence, uncertainty, and experiment-design standards.

Founding-round support

A report is only useful if you can act on it.

The first ten customers receive limited implementation support so unclear reasoning does not block execution.

01

20-minute report review

After delivery, schedule one optional review to question the reasoning, clarify the test, and decide what you will do first.

02

Seven-day check-in

Field & Proof checks whether the test started, what blocked execution, and whether one instruction needs clarification.

03

Clarity guarantee

If the report does not clearly explain what is most likely limiting progress, the evidence, uncertainty, and an executable test, we will revise it or refund your payment.

04 · How it works

05 · Why trust the process?

You do not have to trust a mysterious score.

Every founding report is prepared manually at Field & Proof. The reasoning is visible so you can challenge it.

Facts and assumptions are separated.

The report distinguishes what happened, what that may suggest, and what remains unknown.

Confidence is stated.

Weak evidence produces a lower-confidence analysis—not invented certainty or an inflated promise.

The recommendation can be tested.

You receive a practical way to confirm, reject, or refine the analysis using real market behavior.

Why the founding price is $39.

This is the first paid round, and each analysis is performed manually while the methodology is refined through real cases. In exchange for the founding price, you agree to provide candid feedback and allow anonymized patterns to improve the method. Your name, business, links, and private materials will not be published without separate permission.

06 · Fit

Designed for a business already in the market.

This is for an operating side hustle, solo service, digital product, newsletter, store, or small online business—not an untested idea.

This is for you if…

  • You have put an offer in front of real potential customers.
  • Progress is slower or less reliable than you expected.
  • You want hard prioritization, not a hundred-item plan.
  • You will share real activity and outcome evidence.

It is not for you if…

  • You have not yet tested an offer with potential customers.
  • You want guaranteed revenue or validation without evidence.
  • You need legal, tax, medical, investment, or emergency financial advice.
  • You want someone else to build or operate the business.
07 · Questions

Before you decide.

Can you guarantee this will grow my revenue?

No. The report is designed to improve the quality and speed of your next decision. Results still depend on the market, execution, and evidence produced by the test.

How can you find what is limiting progress from an intake?

The analysis is limited to what your evidence can support. The report shows the reasoning, confidence, and uncertainty. When the evidence is not sufficient, the next test is designed to produce what is missing.

What if I do not have analytics?

That is acceptable. State what you know and what you do not track. Missing measurement may itself determine the most useful next test.

Will you review my website?

Yes, if it is relevant and you provide a viewable link. The website will not automatically be treated as the problem.

Is there a call?

The main analysis is asynchronous. After delivery, founding customers may schedule one optional 20-minute report review to question the reasoning and clarify the next test.

What does the clarity guarantee cover?

If the report does not clearly explain what is most likely limiting progress, the supporting evidence, important uncertainty, and a test you can execute, we will revise it. If the revision still does not meet that standard, we will refund your payment.

How is my information used?

Your materials are used to prepare the analysis. Anonymized patterns may improve the method. Identifying details are not published without separate permission.

What is the refund policy?

If the intake shows the service is clearly not a fit, payment is refunded before analysis. If delivery will take more than five business days after a complete intake, you may choose a refund instead of delayed delivery. Other requests are reviewed promptly and fairly.
